"When I came to First Coast Christian School, I really didn't know what to expect. It was a new school and I really wasn't sure how I was going to fit in. I was scared, but on the first day of school, all my worries were erased. I quickly realized that the students and staff at FCCS really cared about me.

Ever since that day, I have loved each and every moment of my life at school. From the athletic events to the chapel services, I have thoroughly enjoyed all of the experiences that I have had. The teachers truly care about our lives. They are always looking out for the students to make sure that we stay on track in academics and most importantly, in our Christian walk.

The best part of my experience at FCCS is the fact that each and everything we do is centered on Christ. From daily Bible classes, to our Chapel services on Thursdays, I have had a tremendous chance to grow in the Lord. Even in our athletic programs, all of our coaches make sure that we know that the most important aspect of the season is that we exemplify Christ in all that we do.

FCCS is the best school that I have ever attended, and I would not trade the memories and experiences that I have had here for anything in the world. This school has so many things to offer, and I just pray that all of my peers would have the same opportunity to attend First Coast Christian as I have."

Matthew McCurdy is currently a student at First Coast Christian. He is in the twelfth grade and has attended for seven years. Matthew loves basketball and is one of the captains on the varsity basketball team. He is the Vice President of the Beta Club, Treasurer of the National Honor Society and Chaplain of the Junior Class. Matthew is also on the Administrator’s List.
