Middle and High School

Biblical Emphasis

The daily routine at FCCS includes Biblical principles incorporated into all classes. Students are mentored in Christian character and values through our faculty and staff’s example and instruction. High school students attend chapel weekly and participate in a Spiritual Emphasis Week twice a year.

Academics

We offer traditional and honors courses, as well as the option for college dual enrollment for qualifying juniors and seniors. FCCS follows the Florida Sunshine State Standard for needed curriculum content, and makes it complete by including the proper Biblical emphasis.

Graduation

  • 85% of our graduating seniors attend college after graduation
  • 20% of our graduating seniors have qualified for Bright Futures Scholarships
  • Graduates have been accepted into over 45 different colleges and universities over the past 10 years

Activities

Extracurricular activities are an important part of the middle and high school experience here at First Coast Christian School. We believe that every student should have opportunities in education and activity, in order to achieve the ultimate learning experience. In addition to our full athletic program, we also offer a variety of clubs and after school activities. Students are also required to take elective classes as part of their in-school curriculum. These electives, such as journalism, art, drama, chorus and band, often lead to after school activities in the form of concerts, special performances, major productions and competitions.

Students can participate in the following clubs if they meet entrance requirements: Beta Club, Junior Beta Club, National Honor Society, Junior National Honor Society, Sociedad Honoraria Hispánica, and Tri-M Society. Chapel Band and Drumline are also available for students to try out for.

First Coast Christian School students have endless opportunities to succeed spiritually and academically.
